Private swap with Kirstin

I love this card from Kristin in Sweden. You can see how it changed in the hands of the postal system by looking at her before sending scan. I like it then, but I like the fact that it changed along the way too.

The back is just as cool as the front. Kristin used a magazine photo for the back and the mail clerk postmarked a daffodil on the photo instead of the stamp.

Tag!? card from Brad in SD

The back of this card was different. Brad has his own postmark permit. How cool is that? I could tell it had been postmarked before the writing was added.

This photo of a man found in a cave in Herculaneum caught my attention. Archaelogy has always fascinated me.

Vintage Lady

I found a neat old book in German at my favorite thrift shop. It was in a box for a dollar, but I only wanted a couple of things from the box. The owner gave them to me for free. I'll be using the pages for collage fodder for years. The vintage sheet music came from the same store.
